At IHG Hotels & Resorts, we strive to make a positive contribution to our local communities during September which is designated as Giving for Good month. This global initiative takes place across the estate of our 6,500 hotels.
The goal of our team is to fundraise for the Cystic Fibrosis Gateway Chapter based in St. Louis to fight this deadly disease. CF is an inherited life-threatening disorder that damages the lungs and digestive system. Persons with Cystic Fibrosis often struggle to breathe freely when mucus clogs the tubes that carry air in and out of their lungs.

Our inspiration for helping fight CF came from a young boy that has battled the disease since birth and has severe symptoms that hospitalized him countless times.
Just a few years ago, when we held our first fundraiser for CF as a group of friends and neighbors, Bryson was literally fighting for his life. His parents begged for him to be given a new drug called Trikafta which was only approved for children over the age of 12 at the time. Bryson was just 6 years old when he received the drug which worked miraculously for him. In 2021, Trikafta was approved for children as young as 6.
Help us meet our goal of $30,000 while raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis during #IHGGivingforGood month.
